Consolidating hepatitis C elimination – who, when and how should we re-test?

Recorded: November 17th 2022
Duration: 33:26

Dr Ahmed Elsharkawy talked about re-testing as a key part of hepatitis C elimination strategy. He highlighted the great progress in some settings such as prisons, and the remaining opportunities in other key populations. Reinfection in current injectors, for example, remains a key challenge that may be addressed by embedding re-testing in service providers’ standard operating procedures.
