Laura Kent
Laura is the lead liver nurse at Great Western Hospital in Swindon, and is an active member of the BLNA committee, having just entered her 2nd tenure. Clinically Laura is interested in the care and treatment of the decompensated patient, and has a long and enduring interest in palliative care. As part of BASL Laura is currently working with the RCN to update the liver nursing competency, as well as other projects including projects with BSG and the James Lind Alliance for cirrhosis care.
