Dr Shazaad Ahmed, discusses the current state of HDV infection in the UK and provides an update on the HDV registry data.
Shazaad completed his training in Infectious Diseases and Virology in Manchester and has been a virology consultant at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust for the past 5 years. He has an interest in viral hepatitis, in particular Hepatitis B and Hepatitis D, and he has contributed to setting up the Hepatitis D registry in the UK.
